The House Appropriations and the Senate Finance & Appropriations Committees met this afternoon to unveil proposed changes to Governor Northam's recommended budget. The House and Senate budget amendments can be found on the LIS state budget webpage.
The VSBA Government Relations team is reviewing the amendments from each Chamber and will provide analysis upon completion. Each Chamber will debate their budgets in the coming days and will have a floor vote on the spending proposals no later than Saturday, February 13, 2021.
